French Bakery Tour & Baking Class!
Spend two hours behind the scenes in a French bakery, learn the secrets to making a great baguette, and make croissants and pain au chocolate for breakfast. You will walk out with more bread and pastries than you can carry!
Activity Overview
Why We Think It’s Great:
If you’re not keen on doing another walking tour but want an experience that is uniquely Parisian and very memorable, this tour fits the bill. Not only do you get to see what’s going on in a traditional boulangerie, but you also get hands-on experience and food. We love a tour that combines information and food.
We think this tour is great for anyone, but kids will find this especially delightful.
The tour is offered daily and at three times in the afternoon. Very convenient!

Highlights:
Small Group
There is a maximum of 8 guests per tour, so you can still get individualized attention, as your chef won’t have their hands full! Plus, if you are a group of 8, you can make this a private tour!
The Treats!
Learn the secrets to making perfectly fluffy croissants, pain au chocolate, and the famous Parisian baguette. Then, try your creations and take your baguette with you!
Behind the Scenes
Get a behind-the-scenes look at a working boulangerie. It’s not often that pastry lovers get to step behind the counter for a peek at the process.
Things to Note:
- This is not a private tour, but it is a small group activity limited to eight people
- You’ll get the location of the bakery a few days before the tour, so it’s essential to input your information correctly so you can be contacted
Video! Our Experience at THIS Croissant Making Class
We try to go to all the tours that we recommend. Watch Jordan and Edith as they tour the bakery and get a try at baking fresh bread. They had a blast. See if it looks like more fun than this croissant making tour that Erica and Henry did.
