French Bakery Tour: Behind the Scenes at Breakfast
Spend two hours behind the scenes in a French bakery, learn the secrets to making a great baguette, and sample croissants and pain au chocolate for breakfast.

Activity Overview
Why We Think It’s Great:
If you’re not keen to do another walking tour but you want to have an experience that is uniquely Paris and very memorable, this tour fits. Not only do you get to see what’s going on in a traditional boulangerie, but you get hands-on experience, and you get fed. We love a tour that combines information AND food.
We think this tour is great for anyone, but kids will find this especially delightful.

Highlights:
Small Group
There’s a maximum of 8 guests per tour, so you can still get individualized attention as your chef won’t have their hands too full! Plus if you are a group of 8, you can make this a private tour!
The Treats!
Learn the secrets to making a perfectly fluffy croissant and pain au chocolate as well as a famous Parisian baguette. You’ll get to try your creations and take your baguette with you!
Behind the Scenes
Get a behind the scenes look at a working boulangerie. It’s not often pastry lovers get to step behind the counter for a peek at the process.
Things to Note:
- This is not a private tour, but it is a small group activity limited to eight people
- You’ll get the location of the bakery a few days prior to the tour, so it’s extremely important to input your information correctly so you can be contacted
