Sightseeing Thames Cruise Plus River Taxi
There is a lot to see in London, and even after 6 years of living there, we still learn new things from tour guides and find other old-but-new-to-us gems around the city. Whether you’re short on time or you want to tackle several major sights on your must-see list all at once, a Thames Cruise is an excellent option.
Activity Overview
Why We Think It’s Great:
We liked this tour for the entertaining, live audio tour down the Thames. It is a great way to start a trip to London, providing a tour of London as you go down the Thames. We found a lot of folks who were on a 1- or 2-day trip to London on this tour. The guide was entertaining. The boat was large and comfortable. We love facts and history, so this tour nailed it.
If you want to get to Greenwich, this is a good option but not the best. The Thames Clipper is a cheaper and faster option but without the guided tour. We have a great itinerary day, taking the Thames Clipper to Greenwich in our London Itinerary.
Thames Cruise Highlights:

Plenty of departure times are available throughout the day, making it convenient no matter what your schedule entails.
Family Friendly
All ages are welcome on this tour, which is a great way to see a lot with little ones. The boat is even wheelchair (and stroller) accessible.
