Why We Think It’s Great:
Many Thames River cruises are mellow on large boats, and while those are great, this is the perfect tour if you’re looking for something a little different.
When we did this tour, we were loaded onto our raft in order of check-in, so pick of the seats went to the first arrival, which we thought was a great system! Our guide, Ed, was funny and informative. He did a great job of setting our expectations and providing interesting facts and pieces of history along the way.
The speed portions were a lot of fun and our driver did a great job leaning into what our group enjoyed most. We had our 2-year-old with us and never felt uncomfortable with the speed or turns. We also stayed dry, so you don’t have to worry about big splashes.
